We hope you will join us in Paris, France for the 1st Conference on Solar energy and Biodiversity (CSB 2026) on 28 and 29 October 2026. The main theme of the conference is Powering the Future through Science and Collaboration: Solar, Biodiversity, and Nature in the Energy Transition.

CSB 2026 will include a range of plenary sessions, panels sessions, individual talks and posters on the topics outlined below. Although our aim is in-person attendance and live presentations, we also recognize that some individuals may face travel challenges. We are planning a hybrid event with virtual attendance and providing a pre-recorded oral presentation. These pre-recorded presentations will be available to all in-person and virtual conference attendees.

The conference’s Scientific Advisory Committee, made up of 10 international experts, will review all submitted abstracts.

The program for CSB 2026 will be structured around 7 key topics:

  1. Policy, governance and strategic planning
